Six years ago, Debby Flower, a REALTOR®, set out with a goal to support merely 10 veterans in need. This vision gave birth to the Military Assistance Pantry, which today provides for 124 veterans and their 83 children every month. Each veteran receives a package containing four bags filled with fresh produce, meat, toiletries, and soups. "We stand out as the only pantry dedicated solely to veterans.
The updated mandate for landlords to issue a flood risk notice to tenants will now take effect on March 20, 2024, earlier than previously expected.
Landlords are obligated to present this notice to tenants prior to the signing or renewal of leases, with signatures from both parties required. In response, New Jersey Realtors® has committed to revising their standard forms to comply with this new requirement by the March 20 deadline.
