NCJAR Helps Local Veteran with Repairs

On Wednesday, June 24, NCJAR partnered with a local painting contractor to repaint the home of a veteran and her family in Parsippany. This project was made possible through a referral from the Military Assistance Pantry, an organization in northern NJ, who are dedicated to supporting veterans by providing essential resources such as food, clothing, appliances, and other services.  Through a collaborative effort with the Great Falls Rotary Club, NCJAR was able to help improve the home of a deserving family in need. This initiative reflects NCJAR’s ongoing commitment to giving back to the community and supporting those who have served our country.

2026 NJ REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award Unit Deadline – October 5

Planning to apply for the 2026 NJ REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award? Be sure to meet the October 5, 2026 unit deadline.

New for 2026: A minimum $200 RPAC contribution now earns one unit toward your NJ REALTORS® Circle of Excellence Sales Award application.

To qualify, contributions must be received by NCJAR no later than the close of business on Monday, October 5, 2026. You may also make your contribution directly through the NJ REALTORS® RPAC donation website (Member Login at njrealtors.com) by October 5, 2026 to receive credit for the unit.

Don't wait until the last minute. Make your RPAC investment early to ensure your contribution is processed and counted toward your 2026 Circle of Excellence Sales Award application.

NJ Real Estate Continuing Education Changes May Be Coming

NCJAR is closely monitoring proposed changes to New Jersey's real estate continuing education (CE) requirements that could affect REALTORS® and brokers beginning July 1, 2027. The legislation is still moving through the process, and implementation details are expected to be released by the New Jersey Real Estate Commission (NJREC). While no action is required today, we want our members to be aware of the potential changes ahead.

What You Need to Know

• Continuing education (CE) hours required for license renewal may increase.
• Self-paced online CE courses may require a passing exam score of 75%.
• A portion of CE may need to be completed through live instruction, either in person or through a live webinar.
