Honoring Contributions and Building Connections
As we step into May, North Central Jersey Association of Realtors (NCJAR) proudly recognizes and celebrates Jewish-American Heritage Month. This month is a time to honor the profound contributions of Jewish-Americans to the fabric of our national history, culture, and society. At NCJAR, we acknowledge the unique contributions that Jewish-Americans have made to the real estate industry and our local communities across North Central New Jersey.
Historical Insights
Jewish-American Heritage Month was officially proclaimed in April 2006, following resolutions passed by the House and Senate. This recognition came about due to the advocacy of the Jewish Museum of Florida and other prominent national organizations. The month of May was chosen to mark significant anniversaries of contributions by Jewish-Americans and to celebrate the achievements of individuals from this community in various fields.
