NCJAR News
When it comes to buying or selling a home, the process can often seem overwhelming. From navigating the complexities of market trends to understanding legalities and paperwork, the journey is filled with potential pitfalls. This is where a professional Realtor comes in, offering expertise, guidance, and support. Here’s why working with a Realtor from the North Central Jersey Association of Realtors (NCJAR) is invaluable for both buyers and sellers in the New Jersey real estate market.
U.S. existing-home sales recently fell from a one-year high, dropping 4.3% month- over-month to a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 4.19 million, according to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), as higher interest rates and rising sales prices continue to keep some prospective buyers on the sidelines. Average 30-year mortgage rates have topped 7% in recent weeks, while the median existing-home sales price hit $393,500 as of last measure, a 4.8% increase from the previous month, according to NAR.
- Single Family Closed Sales were up 6.7 percent to 1,331.
- Townhouse-Condo Closed Sales were up 14.2 percent to 362.
- Adult Communities Closed Sales remained flat at 47.
