NCJAR News
On Wednesday, September 25th, North Central Jersey Association of REALTORS® (NCJAR) hosted a vibrant Networking Social at The Cranford Social from 4:30 to 7:30 PM. The event was a fantastic opportunity for realtors to unwind, connect, and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Attendees enjoyed a delightful three-hour open bar featuring beer, wine, and liquor, complemented by an array of delicious passed hors d'oeuvres. The highlight of the evening was the make-your-own taco station, where guests could customize their tacos to their liking, adding to the festive culinary experience.
The social event provided an excellent platform for networking, fostering new connections, and strengthening existing relationships within the NCJAR community. It was a wonderful evening filled with laughter, conversation, and camaraderie.

The 2024 RPAC Brochure highlights the essential role of the REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) in advocating for private property rights and issues that affect the real estate industry. It emphasizes that RPAC is a nonpartisan organization funded by voluntary contributions from Realtors®, which are not tax-deductible for federal income purposes.
Key Features of the Brochure:
-
Mission Statement: RPAC is dedicated to supporting candidates who champion issues affecting real estate at local, state, and national levels, ensuring that legislation reflects the concerns of Realtors®, property owners, and communities in New Jersey.
-
Impact on the Industry: The brochure outlines three critical areas where RPAC has helped save costs for the industry:
-
Smart Sprinkler Systems: Savings for home sellers during the installation.
-
Realty Transfer Fee: The financial implications of potential tax increases on high-value homes.
As Realtors®, we understand the importance of being involved in our communities, and one of the most impactful ways to do that is by voting. With 87.59% of Realtors® in New Jersey registered to vote, we have the potential to influence decisions that affect homeownership, real estate regulations, and the economy. However, in 2022, only 50.96% of NJ Realtors® cast their ballots. We can do better in 2024, and here’s how!
There are three convenient ways to vote in New Jersey, ensuring that you can make your voice heard, no matter your schedule:
1. Vote by Mail
Vote from the comfort of your home by requesting a mail-in ballot. Once completed, you can either mail it back or drop it off at a secure drop box in your county.
2. Early In-Person Voting
